I started this fella back in 2023. He has evolved tremendously from where he started. In fact, I’ve tore him apart a few times Until his personality appeared. He is almost solid clay over a skeleton I built and he weighs several pounds. His cap is made out of cardboard paper and spun cotton. There are eight wires around the underside of his cap where you can dangle a garland, lights or small Ornaments.
He is about 20 inches tall and his cap is 14 inches across.
He is truly one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever made, and to think at one point I was going to throw hI’m away because I was so frustrated.
He’s a perfect illustration of patience in my tenacity to stick with something until I see it through. And I’ve wound up adoring him.
