These are polymer clay earrings, which is a casting I took of a vintage Wedgewood porcelain button. I found antiquing several years ago. The circumference of each earring is not perfectly regular. It has the vibe of a wax stamp in a lot of ways. It is hand-painted in acrylic paint, sealed, and signed on the reverse.
They are not heavy earrings because I personally don’t like my earrings too heavy. I like them to move in a whimsical way.
If you’ve never owned polymer clay jewelry before it is very sturdy, I wear pieces that are over 30 years old. But we never recommend our jewelry getting wet.
