On Saturday January 19th from 9am-4pm, I will be teaching my Save the Bees Pixe art doll class in my Home, overlooking my garden, in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I will be serving a lovely lunch, beverages and snacks. If you have dietary restrictions, (I do), let me know and I will absolutely be happy to accommodate you.
In this class we will be creating this darling Bee Pixe doll. There is a very short supply list of tools you will need to bring.
I will be supplying all of the materials to construct and paint and decorate the doll. You will learn to texturize her skin, sculpt bees and her heart of polymer clay, paint her face, wings, create a beehive hair from special yarn & securely mount her to her wood base.
If you are uncomfortable doing the painting of her face, don't worry. I will be happy to help you. It's not uncommon for the dolls to be lined up for me to help paint certain features.
If you want to bring your own embellishments, such as rhinestones, lace, ribbon and vintage jewelry, etc. feel free to do so. I greatly encourage self expression in my classes.
If you have any questions before signing up, feel free to message me through instagram, facebook or here.
This class is limited to 8 students. It is the only time I will be teaching this doll. I keep my classes to 8 and under so I can give more personalized help. My classes are very relaxed and light.
Thank you! Hope to see you in class.
